Welcome to Bearded Buddys where Beardies are Buddys for Life! My name is Rico van Deventer. I am 17 years old. I live in Northern KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. I joined the reptile hobby in 2022 when I got my first Bearded dragon. Since then my love for reptiles kept on growing. A year later in 2023 I started my YouTube channel, Bearded Buddys, so I can educate fellow Bearded Dragon owners on Bearded dragon care. My videos are based on my personal experiences with my three beloved beardies: Spike, Diggy & Denva and my personal research. I believe that all animals, especially reptiles should receive the care they need and that proper education is crucial before getting a pet I also started breeding bearded dragons on a smaller scale as a hobbyist breeder Disclaimer: I'm not a vet or a certified expert.
